Exciting as adventures may be, there are days where very little happens of note. I don't mean to imply that these days are of a lesser value, however. One shouldn't floccinaucinihilipilificate them, by any means (yes! second time using it in a sentence! XD) It was a fairly routine sort of day yesterday; there were classes in the morning, and the afternoon was completely free. Classes should be fairly easy, two at 45 minutes each. They both come with a fair volume of reading outside of class, but that's hardly a problem. At least I don't have Chinese language, which is two hours long >.< For lunch we went to a Japanese restaurant, and for dinner we went to a pizza place. Yes, I know, I thought the same thing when I realized that I've had just as many Chinese meals as Western, or thereabouts :P
Today was excellent as well. Classes in the morning again, and just as much reading for homework, but in the afternoon we were visited by a quartet of young musicians who were students at some of Beijing's top music schools (their equivalent of Julliard). It was really amazing to see live. I took video of most of the songs they played, and once I get a chance to do a little editing to them I'll get them posted on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. :)
All is going well here in China, look forward to more pictures by tomorrow, after we visit THE FREAKING GREAT WALL!!! (excited... just a little... just a teeny bit...)
